To upgrade Newsletter Studio to a newer version you just need to upload the latest release file into the developer-section of the Umbraco and run the installer, we'll take care of any changes between the versions.


There are some things that you will need to consider

 

  • It's always recommended to take a backup of the filesystem and the database before performing a upgrade.
  • Did you customize the "subscribe"-macro? Make a backup of it or rename the file.
  • Any custom changes in the css-files? Make sure to make a backup of them as well.
